Hello, everyone. This is 5 Minutes with AOPA-China. I’m Nick. Yes, no other voice, this is my first solo. Excited.

Hope I can bring you an episode as fruitful as always.

Ok, no further due, let’s take a review of our episodes and talk something relaxing.

As of today, we have 15 episodes. And topics range from pilot training, new regulation, and aviation culture and aviation news. So how do you like our podcast?

We had the most views on the first episode, almost 1500, and we are have an audience of around 500 every episode afterwards. We invited comments everytime and we received lots of heartfelt opinions. I appreciate your support.

The most popular episode is the airventure episode.

At this time last month, EAA Airventure Oshkosh was being celebrated by more than 40,000 people on the spot. EAA released the best photos this year. Check it out. As an aviation enthusiast who just came to work in aviation industry, I definitely can’t resist the temptation of EAA. Hopefully, I can be one of those 40,000 people next year. And if you are also interested in it, don’t hesitate to contact me, let’s fly there together. Speaking of which, the autumn is here, and mid-autumn festival is not far away. During mid-autumn festival, an aviation carnival will greet the people in Jinmen, Hubei. Aviator’s Club, the host, intends to build a local aviation event with airshow, concerts and camping. Why not spend an exciting mid-autumn festival with aircraft and lots of flying? And national holiday is around the corner. AOPA-China is organizing the grand air event in Mayong Huayang Lake National Park. It is a must-be for aviation maniac. Helicopters, LSA, balloons, FPV drones, myriad stuff. I am booking my air tickets now. If you are going, let’s meet and have an aviation chat.

AOPA-China and Dr. Gao Yuanyang will organize a group of people visiting EAA Airventure next year.  Dr. Gao was there 8 times, he was more than a visitor there, he was also a representative of China’s GA community, making China’s voice heard by hosting a forum there. I was really inspired by Dr.Gao’s determination and perseverance since he has been devoted to general aviation industry for more than 10 years. My hat to him and others who always remain true to their original aspiration.

Flight safety is a heated topic. Improving the quality of flight training is the foundation I think. Although I’m not a pilot yet, I know the first step to become a professional pilot is to get good and comprehensive flight training. No one can afford the price of operational mistake made in the air.

And the Fourth Seminar of Ab Initio Flight Training is coming, on Sept.19th-20th. It is held by us AOPA-China and supported by Flight Standard Department of CAAC. Aviation professionals and representatives from airlines and flight schools will gather together in Beijing to discuss flight training, aiming at improving flight safety. 19 Days countdown to the event, now. AOPA-China is ready to meet you from all over the world.

Okay. There is one thing I wish more listeners could know. 5 Minutes with AOPA-China has established a new activity called 5PM Aviation Quiz.
